  I would like to Thank all the people who donated money for the family in Leesburg for the Christmas Holidays. We collected $550.00. This was for a family of two twin boys that are 2 years old, a boy 10 and a boy 13, the mom and two dogs (one dog was a rescue dog from New Orleans).  Dot Reynolds, Bud and I delivered the gifts and food on Friday the 22^nd. We were met there by two members of the church that also brought gifts. One of the church members was dressed as Santa.
  We were able to purchase items such as a skate board, a razor scooter, an ATM machine, shoes, robes, 4 slice toaster, games, videos, flower centerpiece, telescope, Christmas stockings, frozen foods and various side items for dinner, fresh fruits and vegetables from Dot’s daughter and son-in-law that have the fruit and vegetable table on the square each day! There were many other smaller items as well. We were also able to provide a gift certificate to Winn-Dixie where the mom usually does shopping! We are sending pictures of the items purchased to the www.virginiatrace.com website if you would like to see more.
  They all were very grateful for the support we gave them. The family, church and I would like to especially thank the approximately 25 households that gave so generously!
